Icebreaking Activity

Young science enthusiasts from 33 countries and regions were divided into several groups to engage in talent show, group dance design and performance, robot relay competition and other activities. They enhanced mutual understanding and friendship through these relaxing and interesting activities.

With the rotation of the silk flower ball which symbolized the opening of the event, the Third Belt and Road Teenager Maker Camp & Teacher Workshop kicked off officially.

The maker activities carried out in groups were themed on intelligent robots, model art, printing art, colorful chemistry, model airplane, electronic art, video production and creative programming, In addition to overcoming the difficulty in language communication, students were required to work together to complete the tasks.

Science Education Forum

9 experts and science teachers from 8 countries including Costa Rica, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, Malaysia, Romania, Tunisia and China delivered speeches at the forum which was attended by over 200 teachers from various countries and regions. The Forum allowed participants to learn the methods and experience of different countries and regions in science education.

Teacher Workshop

Experts from China and Australia organized 4 workshops themed on STEM, design thinking, programming and maker for 87 science teachers coming from all parts of the world. Experts and organizations from China, Malaysia, Pakistan, Indonesia, Thailand, Kazakhstan also participated in the research and development of <One Belt One Road: Fusion of Civilization Education Curriculum>.

Cultural Night

The Cultural Night was warmly welcomed by the participants, who spared no effort in displaying their captivating cultures, such as Indian song and dance, Omani candy, Korean dance group, Chinese folk dance, interactive games, etc.

Through visit to the ethnic museum and other exciting activities which contributed to the exchanges and mutual learning between civilizations, students from all over the world had the opportunity to savor the glamour of the scientific, technological and cultural resources in Guangxi.

Student groups overcame the language barriers and presented the research results to judges. These amazing works were clear in design, comprehensive in expression, and interesting and creative in appearance, making teachers and judges very pleased.
